Over the past 10+ Years, I have done a wide range of film and video projects, from fundraising pitches and mission clips for non-profit companies, to music videos, to stop-motion animation, and co-creating a web series with my wife, Ramona Rose King.
I have worked on all of these projects from conception, generating the core idea for the project more often than not. Beyond ideas, I've been responsible for producing, filming, audio, design, and editing all projects below.
Novelist and Poet Steven Ostrowski commissioned me to create a trailer for his debut novel, The Highway of Spirit and Bone, released in October 2023. He had also written a song based on the novel. After a successful collaboration on the trailer, he asked me to make a music video for the song. Taking a recording of his voice and acoustic guitar, I added all additional instrumentation and musical arrangement.
Company One Theatre
From Spring 2013 - Fall 2014, I worked as the Street Team Director at Company One Theatre in Boston. Part of my role entailed creating videos: trailers and previews of productions, fundraising clips, and audience response videos. Below are a selection of those projects. (For "Hindu Sunday by Meat & Beti" I wrote and recorded/produced the song in addition to video),
Early in the Covid pandemic and wide shutdown in March 2020, my wife (Ramona Rose King) and I - both working from home - co-created and wrote a web series: Home Office. Inspired by The Office, but transferring that vibe to a couple forced to work from home together, we made a new episode each week for three months. Both WBUR and The Boston Globe covered this inaugural season.
Ramona and I co-conceived, co-wrote, and co-starred in each episode. I directed, shot, and edited them all. Below are the first videos of both the original and New York editions, linked to the full season playlists.
