Over the past 10+ Years, I have made a wide range of art: play- and screenwriting, music and music videos, painting and hand drawn books for children, short films and videos including stop-motion animation and a pandemic-web series co-created with my wife, Ramona Rose King. In 2014, I designed a small gallery space to host pieces of many media as part of Sally Taylor's Consenses, presented on Martha's Vineyard.
I'm happy to share bits and pieces of my visual art portfolio. To request any additional information, please reach out to me: [email protected].

Hams of New England
Hams of New England imagines a world where all the New England towns that end with "-ham" were named after the local hogs' favorite activities, written & illustrated by John J King.
Home Office
Early in the Covid pandemic and wide shutdown in March 2020, my wife (Ramona Rose King) and I - both working from home - co-created and wrote a web series: Home Office. Inspired by The Office, but transferring that vibe to a couple forced to work from home together, we made a new episode each week for three months. Both WBUR and The Boston Globe covered this inaugural season.
A year later, having re-located to New York City, we produced season 2, Home Office: New York.
Ramona and I co-conceived, co-wrote, and co-starred in each episode. I directed, shot, and edited them all. Below are the first videos of both the original and New York editions, linked to the full season playlists.
